Northern Goshawk
Known for it's steel blue gray coloring and blood-red eyes of the
adult bird, this silent hunter of the northern forests is in the
nightmares of the snowshoe hare and grouse that it hunts. This
carving represents the goshawks fragile cling to the disappearing
mature forests on which it's existence so deeply depends. |
